Working Groups
To increase visibility and actions of the Italian Chapter of the ESB, three Working Groups (WGs) has been recently created.
COMMUNICATION
Representative: Giulia Luraghi
The aim of the COMMUNICATION WG is to manage all dissemination activities such as membership promotion (new members and renewals), communication/promotion of all actions related to ESB-ITA and other WGs, organisation of online seminars for members, management of communication channels (website, X, LinkedIn, newsletter).
MENTORING
Representative: Diana Massai
The aim of the MENTORING WG is to promote interactions between senior and junior researchers in order to create a network of guidance/support for the professional development of italian researchers registered within the ESB-ITA. The actions foreseen will concern, and be not only limited to: meeting initiatives (face-to-face or virtual) for mentoring actions between national members; invitations to senior researchers to share their experience and professional path; organisation of events/workshops/meetings with winners, reviewers and/or funders of funded projects (e.g. Marie Curie, ERC, etc.) dedicated to illustrating calls for proposals and promoting proposal writing.

NETWORKING

The aim of the NETWORKING WG is to strengthen and develop joint actions with other scientific societies, such as and not limited to: establishing a network of contacts with other national ESB Chapters, mutual participation in conferences, defining invitations aimed at multidisciplinarity and mutual exchange, setting up special awards, organising joint schools/seminars/events.
